The WWE Superstar Of The Decade!.. (Most Impactful Wrestlers Of The Last Ten Years)

December 28, 2019

if you are a WWE fan then the biggest
question that you’ve been hearing over the last couple of weeks is who is the
superstar of the decade who made the most impact over the last 10 years to
deserve this type of accomplishment some of us do got the answer for that right
away and pick our favorite superstar but just like any opinion it is subjective
because of it there’s really no right or wrong answer but in this video we’re
gonna open the floodgates and discuss about it
who is WWE Superstar of the decade before getting into it though make sure
that you guys elbow drop it and have those notifications turn on to always be
up to date on all the latest pro wrestling coverage fair disclaimer this
is a WWE list so the Kenny Omega Okada Tana Hoshi and
so on unfortunately are not going to be discussed but we know that in the
overall ranking they’re way up up there back to the WWE Universe I will of
course give you my wrestler of the decade but we’re also talking multiple
other superstars that are up there of getting this type of Honor in no
particular order we’re starting off with the architect Seth Rollins as of late
you might not necessarily like Seth Rollins but without a doubt he has been
one of the most dominant superstar over the last 10 years as the architect of
the shield Seth Rollins led the hounds of justice as they became one of sports
entertainments most dominant forces before all of them breaking out into
single competition and becoming successful single superstars Rollins
kind of got up there even first winning the Money in the Bank contract and using
it to create his own WrestleMania moment capturing the WWE World Heavyweight
Championship on the grandest stage of them all over this past decade he has
defeated the likes of Triple H John Cena Brock Lesnar twice and even got to
wrestle childhood dreams heroes like sting talking about the shield one of
the strongest case of a wrestler of the decade would have to be Roman reigns and
there’s a lot of up and downs mostly downs when it comes to Roman reigns and
when it comes to the fence actually getting behind him because even as one
of WWE most decorated competitors feels like he has gone through hell and
back personally and professionally just to become the face of the company that
the WWE wants him to be so bad after debuting in 2012 and capturing the WWE
Champion to universal championship the Intercontinental Championship
United States Championship and WWE Tag Team Championships alongside winner in
the 2015 Royal Rumble match the big dog reveal he was fighting leukemia and will
be relinquished in his Universal Championship on 2018 he then made a
massive comeback but all in between the decade he entered our main event in
WrestleMania more than anyone on the active roster the compelling thing about
Roman reigns is that it we’re not just talking about his career professionally
but also his personal life which ultimately touched a lot of us and makes
him one of the top contender for superstar of the decade and it seems
like we’re talking about franchise a lot so we’re gonna go ahead and talk about
the franchise himself John Cena and this one is hard to even debate sure John
Cena is now wrestling with the WWE right now over the last three years he hasn’t
been a consistent wrestler but that doesn’t negate the fact that from 2010
all the way up to 2017 there was nothing but a John Cena focus on our WWE
television it was so bad that most of the time we didn’t even want John Cena
to be in our television then now that he is gone for literally almost a year he
only comes back for a segment or two most of us get excited when there’s
rumors that he is coming back and is a testament to how the products on this
day and age which is not as exciting as the early days of the decade just to put
some extra value into John Cena’s name not that he actually needed but when you
look at over the last five years after John Cena kind of started to step away
go more Hollywood it’s evident that besides one or maybe two superstars WWE
hasn’t been able to replicate how over John Cena was we go from Bret Hart Shawn
Michaels don’t go Steve Austin the rock and then John Cena and then it doesn’t
seem like anybody else just comes close to that maybe
the next guy that we’re talking about Randy Owen sticking with a fruity pebble
guy though John Cena he had a hell of a decade facing the rock at WrestleMania
twice having an amazing feel with the likes of CM Punk Ryan the oil and even
Roman reigns John Cena’s also mr. make-a-wish and there’s nobody who’s
gonna take that away from him much like the fact that he has 16 world
title ones and Counting most of which did came over the last decade and who
could forget the exciting a weekly television that he provided to us when
he was doing the US Open challenge absolutely amazing as I mentioned
another 10 amazing years I come in the form of Randy Orton who is probably the
only superstar in this list that over the last ten year has constantly
wrestled in the WWE and only looks like he’s getting younger he could go out
there and give us a classic with anyone and give us an RKO out of nowhere that
we’re gonna remember for weeks and he’s just gonna continue dominating anything
that Randy Owen touches he pretty much makes an impact out of it and just
continues it from there from creating his own faction like legacy joining
evolution the authority the Wyatt family hash tag ft RKO please bring it back
anyway so Randy land always try to make it interesting and he is the constant in
the locker room the guy that been here continue to do it and nobody complains
that he is hanging out with the younger guys because in technicality Randy one
is still young countless of milestones from of course WWE Championship World
Heavyweight Championship capturing both at the same time money in the bank
Grand Slam champion Royal Rumble winner and so on it just keeps going up next
we’re talking about Brock Lesnar I mean do we need to say much eat sleep conquer
repeat that was really the past decade for Brock Lesnar eat sleep conquer
repeat maybe also take a lot of time off during that time but he still managed to
dominate there is not a freak more beastly than Brock Lesnar he is on top
of the food chain even when he doesn’t have a title at the end of the day that
champion itself feels like he’s thinking about the time that Brock Lesnar decides
to show up to work because it might not end well
the beasts return to WWE in 2012 so early on finally his championship run in
UFC and quickly reminded the WWE Universe exactly what he was capable of
pure destruction going through Triple H multiple time taking John Cena to suplex
City defeating the shriek and so on probably without even trying
Brock is the top heel of the decade I’m next we got Becky Lynch and we’re Becky
of course come Charlotte of Bayley Sasha banks who ultimately just made the last
half of the decade all about the woman’s revolution the earlier part of the
decade we definitely got to add the likes of AJ Lee and Paige but just when
you look at it over the last two and a half years of course there’s just no way
that we cannot put Becky Lynch in this list for the simple fact that it just to
end the decade she has done so much that makes it feel like she has been doing it
for longer because of how significant it has been main eventing WrestleMania
capturing both championship just breaking records going from NXT to raw
to Smackdown live back and forth trying to find herself and then finally
organically getting over which is the biggest thing that any wrestler could do
when you get the crowd behind it you continue to write down momentum it’s
just that much more significant then it just being a singles portion of Vince
McMahon wants to give you so that you can capture a championship getting that
crowd movement behind you it’s honestly everything and that brings me to my
wrestler of the decade and we are talking about Daniel Bryan if you’ve
been hanging out on the channel for a bit long then you know that I absolutely
love Daniel Bryan he’s my favorite superstar not everyone is gonna agree
but for me as I said from top to bottom he just had everything this past decade
his promo work it’s amazing it could put over any match any day of the week when
he does get into that match you know you are about to win it’s a classic because
it’s Daniel Bryan his wrestling style it’s amazing and his philosophy with any
match if you pay attention there’s always something to it there’s always
some type of storytelling and I don’t think we need to summarize
this whole story this decade but he is the superstar that took us through a
journey making a return up from the indie scenes in 2010 and to the WWE
after getting fire going from having quote/unquote no charisma to being the
most charismatic guy in the WWE right now for me one of the best comedy things
in the WWE team hell no and again just taking us through a journey then rising
to the top leading into WrestleMania xxx when he faced a Triple H and then goes
on to the main event and captured the WWE and the World Heavyweight
Championship on the same night facing a Randy Orton Batista then of course a we
got from it’s shocking announcement of him having to retire from the WWE
because of an injury and what he does he doesn’t quit he just goes all around the
world trying to get approved by different doctors doing whatever he can
to come back to exactly what he loves which is wrestling so we talked about
nine championships any money in the bank victory later he is already back from
retirement he is literally giving us at the best storylines play now in WWE
television right now there’s no sign that he’s stopping anytime soon but as I
said that is just my opinion let me know your thoughts down in the comments below
what other superstar will you pick either from here or not in this list
that you consider to be superstar of the decade there are some honorable mentions
that I want to include here such as Kofi Kingston AJ Lee Chris Jericho and CM
Punk even though those superstars are now with the WWE right now they started
off the decade that’s one of the bests anyways guys I thank you for watching if
you enjoy don’t forget to elbow drop and hit those notifications for much more

John Cena is the best of the decade. Even though he hasn't been around for the past year he still performed great in the ring with AJ Styles, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, CM Punk, and more! He is truly the best IMO

For me, the best superstar of the decade that is going on to be the most popular entertainer today with so many fans is Bray Wyatt. He has had a roller coaster of a decade with many highs and lows in his career. He started out as a jobber named Husky Harris in The Nexus and was kicked out of the faction by CM Punk. Bray was forced to go to a developmental sector of WWE called FCW, which then became NXT. He began calling himself Bray Wyatt and had the gimmick of a cult leader of sorts to which he recruited Erick Rowan and Luke Harper to serve as his “brothers” in the Wyatt Family, he was then moved to the main roster with this faction and had some of the most memorable vignettes for any group in the company. Bray won against Kane in his debut match at Summerslam 2013. Bray started a feud with John Cena, where Cena tried to bury them just like he did the original Nexus. Bray helped get Daniel Bryan over during his underdog storyline lending to him becoming an even greater fan favorite. Bray set Harper and Rowan “free” so he could have a singles run. He had a WrestleMania rivalry with The Undertaker, which he lost. Bray regrouped The Wyatt Family and added Braun Strowman to the ranks. Randy Orton infiltrated The Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt won the WWE title, Randy then caused The Wyatt Family to separate, Bray lost his WWE championship to Orton. He had various feuds that ended with him putting everyone else over. He had a feud with Matt Hardy that was considered to be very entertaining and Bray lost his character traits due to Matt tossing him into the Lake of Reincarnation, he began to team with Matt and won the Raw Tag Team Championships. He had to step away from in-ring action due to sickness and injury.

After WrestleMania 36, vignettes began airing showing puppets of a doll in a rocking chair and a buzzard in a box that laughed with a familiar voice for weeks. Bray Wyatt then returned as a children’s television show host with a dark secret and was accompanied by twisted puppets Abby The Witch, Mercy The Buzzard, Ramblin Rabbit, and Huskus The Pig Boy, which all represented something symbolic of Bray Wyatt’s past with these Firefly Funhouse segments becoming something to look forward to each week, even causing Bray to become a fan favorite without even wrestling. Bray Wyatt showed off his dark secret as he changed from a fun-loving host that shouted “YOWIE WOWIE!!!!” to a monstrous entity called The Fiend that uttered the phrases “Let me in!”
The Fiend then made its presence felt by attacking Finn Bálor, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, and Jerry “The King” Lawler, all of these attack caused Finn Bálor to call out The Fiend for a match at Summerslam 2019 to which it accepted. Finn Bálor was subsequently destroyed by The Fiend and Seth Rollins with his Universal Championship was next in the sights of The Fiend. The Fiend was set to go against Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match, but Rollins caused the official to stop the match after slamming a sledgehammer on the head of The Fiend. It was not enough to put The Fiend down for good and Rollins was forced to burn down Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Funhouse, which only angered The Fiend more. The Fiend then won the Universal Championship from Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel 2019, which was a well-deserved victory and a right move on WWE’s part due to how popular Bray was and how his own ideas for this gimmick flourished upon his return. Bray as The Fiend would go after Daniel Bryan next, winning the title match at Survivor Series 2019 and ripping out Bryan’s hair after pulling him under the ring. Miz tried to find out what happened to Bryan but was then attacked by Bray Wyatt and The Miz had his family preyed upon by Bray and the puppets of The Firefly Funhouse. Miz challenged Bray Wyatt to a match at TLC 2019 and lost, Bray almost smashed him in with a mallet but Bryan returned and attacked Bray for what had happened to him.
All of this led up to Bray Wyatt becoming one of the best wrestlers and characters of this decade as we have not seen the likes of something like this since Kane in the late 90’s and The Undertaker in the mid to late 2000’s

Aj styles even in such short time is the best of the decade
But Seth and Daniel aren't that far behind him for me

  • Reply Royal Rambler December 27, 2019 at 3:08 am

From TNA, to New Japan and everywhere in between, to WWE it HAS to be AJ Styles. He won all world titles from TNA WWE and NJPW in the span of a decade, which nobody else (to my knowledge) has ever done. He ran the Bullet club, changed the standard for who could be the best and is a humble human being as well. Don’t even have to mention how great a wrestler he is. AJ Styles no doubt.

The last 10 years easily Cena for the wwe. While Cena has cool off in the past years. His impact on the wwe can be felt because the wwe tried to pass it down to roman and that didnt work. Since Cena is gone. What is the true face of the company has felt empty. But none the less even when cena has comeback. His mic work. His open challenge. His classic with AJ, Roman, Bryan and punk to name a few.
    People after Cena would be
Brock as much as we hate brock. Brock is a draw. Hes dominance can be felt and what he did from the streak to suplex city. Pure bad assness. As much we hate brock. We gotta put respect on his name
    4.Aj style
5.the Shield. As together not sperate because what roman seth and Ambrose.
6.CM punk . Easily put on classic with jericho. Taker. Cena and probably the best match brock has had in the wwe. Also hes about the most requested return for a wwe superstar in history since hes left in 2014 or 2015 i believe.
    new day here at 7.
The 4 horse women at 8
Bray at 9. I have him low yes while his fiend character is DOING AMAZING. Its been kind of rocky but now towards the end of the decade hes truly saved his career
10.The miz hands down the BEST midcard champion of this Decade.

I feel perfect with that list

    I think it's John Cena.
His great feuds with people like The Rock, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Batista, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, The Nexus, AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt.
His great matches with AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, The Rock, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, Batista, Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Rusev and more.
The best at promos, getting crowd reactions constantly.
Had so much memorable championship victories, matches, feuds, title reigns and moments.
Won all championships this decade except the Intercontinental Championship.
Created the US Open Challenge which was the best parts of Raw because of the awesome matches we got and the suprises.
The Face of the company for most if not all the decade.
The fans miss him now so the impact he had on everyone was bigger than any other WWE wrestler this decade.
